I'm starting this blog to keep friends and family up to date on my travels in Europe this winter as I complete an internship at the WHO in Geneva.  I'm hoping I will be able to update more regularly than I would be able to correspond with each person individually. 

I leave from Toronto on January 9th, and fly an unorthodox route to Zurich via Istanbul.  From there, I'll make my way to Geneva by train.   Pat got me the Lonely Planet guide for Christmas, so I'm plotting out my route and activities until I start work on January 20th.  I'm still working on finding a place to live in Geneva.
